water (if needed for blending)
Instructions
- Melt the coconut cream until it's liquid, using a double boiler or microwave.
- Combine the melted coconut cream, dates, cacao powder, vanilla, and salt in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Add water if needed to help blend and achieve desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding maple syrup.
- Transfer the frosting to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
