Ingredients

The apples

  • 3 pounds Honeycrisp apples
  • 2 pounds Fuji apples

The sweeteners and spices

  • ½ cup sweetener
  • ½ cup brown sweetener
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on High for 4-5 hours or on Low for 9-10 hours.
  3. Remove the lid and puree the mixture using an immersion blender or a regular blender.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetener and spices as needed.
  5. Allow the apple butter to cool and thicken.
