Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a sauté pan and toss until the pecans are evenly coated.
- Cook on medium heat until the maple syrup comes to a low simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and continue simmering for about 20-25 minutes, stirring often, until the liquid has evaporated and the sugars have crystallized.
- Once the syrup starts to crystallize, cook for 1 more minute, stirring frequently.
- Pour the candied pecans onto a flat surface covered with parchment paper and break apart any clumps.
- Let the pecans cool to room temperature before serving or storing.
