Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line cookie sheets with Silpats or parchment paper.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside.
- Beat the melted butter and sugars together until well combined.
- Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients at low speed until combined, then stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
- Scoop the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for about 12 minutes, reversing the position of the sheets halfway through, until the edges are light golden brown and the centers are still soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the sheets before transferring them to a wire rack.
