Ingredients

The main ingredients

  • 12 oz Flank steak, sliced into ¼ inch strips
  • ¾ large Red bell pepper
  • ¾ large Green bell pepper
  • ¼ small Onion, sliced

The cooking ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Light olive oil, divided use
  • 1 tablespoon Gluten free soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the peppers and onions, and set aside. Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Cook half of the beef for about 2 minutes without stirring, then flip and cook for another minute. Remove from the pan.
  3. Add another teaspoon of oil and cook the remaining beef, then remove from the pan.
  4. Add the remaining oil to the pan with the vegetables, soy sauce, and 2-3 tablespoons of water. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return the beef to the pan to heat through, then season with salt, pepper, and toasted sesame oil. Serve as is or over cauliflower rice.
