Instructions
- Peel all the garlic cloves.
- Place the garlic cloves in a small pan with any optional herbs.
- Pour enough oil into the pan to completely cover the garlic cloves.
- Heat the pan over medium heat until small bubbles form around the garlic.
- Reduce the heat to a slow simmer and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow the oil to cool completely.
- Strain off the herbs and store the garlic confit in a clean jar in the fridge.
