Instructions
- Preheat a large, nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low to medium heat.
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a large shallow bowl.
- Melt a tablespoon of butter in the preheated skillet.
- Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Add the coated brioche to the skillet when the butter has melted and begun to foam.
- Toast each side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the French toast to a baking sheet and keep warm in a low oven.
- Continue toasting the remaining bread and egg mixture, adding more butter as needed.
- Serve warm with powdered sugar, whipped cream, maple syrup, fresh fruit, or any desired toppings.
