Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and butter the doughnut tins.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, blend the melted butter, vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and milk in three batches, mixing until combined.
- Spoon the batter into the doughnut wells, filling them about 1/4-inch from the rim.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack and dip in glaze, then top with sprinkles if desired.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt, adding milk to reach desired consistency.
