Instructions
- Remove the filet mignon from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
- Make the compound butter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Trim any connective tissue from the steaks and pat dry. Season with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Arrange the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry until they reach your desired doneness, checking with a meat thermometer.
- Remove the steaks and top each with a tablespoon of compound butter.
- Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
