Sautéed Garlic Spinach

Ingredients

The spinach

  • 10 ounces baby spinach

The aromatics

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

The seasoning

  • 1-2 teaspoons Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar or lemon juice
  • to taste kosher salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the spinach and most of the minced garlic, saving about 1 tablespoon of garlic for later.
  3. If necessary, add half the spinach first and allow it to wilt before adding the rest.
  4. Once the spinach is mostly cooked down, add the remaining garlic and stir frequently.
  5. Cook until the spinach is wilted and most of the liquid has evaporated.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and vinegar or lemon juice to taste.
  7. Serve immediately or store for meal prep.
