Pan Seared Cast Iron Salmon
Ingredients
The salmon

salmon (skin-on, 6-8oz each)
The seasoning and oil

seafood seasoning

Instructions
- Allow the salmon to come to room temperature for 15 minutes and dry it completely with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil on both sides of the salmon and season with seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high and coat it with olive oil.
- Place the salmon skin side up in the hot skillet, optionally adding lemon halves for flavor.
- Cook the salmon for 4 minutes without moving it.
- Monitor the sides of the salmon; when the color has lightened about ¾ of the way up, flip it over.
- Cook the salmon skin side down for another 4 minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and serve with lemon juice.
