Ingredients

The base

  • 3 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

The seasoning

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano

The toppings

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • ½ cup mixed veggies (onion, mushroom, tomato, green pepper, etc.)
  • to taste vegan parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and place them on a baking sheet, drizzling with olive oil and sprinkling with garlic powder, basil, and oregano.
  3. Bake the mushrooms for 5 minutes.
  4. While the mushrooms are baking, prepare the pizza sauce and chop the vegetables.
  5. After 5 minutes, remove the mushrooms from the oven and top them with pizza sauce, veggies, and vegan parmesan.
  6. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the veggies are cooked.
  7. Serve with fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and extra vegan parmesan.
