Instructions
- Soak the breadcrumbs in milk until soggy.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, soaked breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, spices, ketchup, and Romano cheese.
- Mix the ingredients until just combined, avoiding overworking the meat.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs and place them gently in the heated oil.
- Cook meatballs for about 2 minutes without disturbing, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until browned.
- Transfer cooked meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate and continue cooking in batches.
- Optionally, place cooked meatballs in marinara sauce to simmer for about an hour or finish cooking in the oven.
