Gluten Free Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted grass-fed butter
  • 1 ¼ cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups maple sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup gluten free 1:1 flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line an 8x8” brownie pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and ½ cup of chocolate chips together over a double boiler or in the microwave.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the maple sugar, then add the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold in the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until set in the middle.
  8. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then remove and cool completely before slicing into 9 squares.
