Ingredients

The frappuccino

  • 1 cup strong black coffee, chilled
  • ½ medium banana, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon light agave, plus additional to taste
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • to taste ice

Optional toppings

  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste chocolate shavings
  • to taste chocolate syrup
  • to taste mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients except for the ice in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Gradually add ice, blending after each addition until the mixture reaches your desired thickness.
  4. Pour into a glass, garnish as desired, and enjoy immediately.
