Fresh Corn Fritters

Instructions
- Process half of the corn kernels, egg, corn starch, flour or cornmeal, heavy cream, salt, and cayenne in a food processor until a batter forms.
- Remove the blade and stir in the remaining corn kernels and green onions.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and drop batter by heaping tablespoons into the pan.
- Fry until golden on one side, about 45 seconds to 1 minute, then flip and fry the other side until golden.
- Transfer cooked fritters to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
- Serve immediately with optional garnishes.
