Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warmed milk and let it rest.
- Combine sour cream, sugar, salt, egg, vanilla, oil, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Add the milk mixture and blend, then gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then let it rise until doubled in size.
- Grate the apples, toss with lemon juice, and prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll out the dough, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Layer the strained apples over the cinnamon mixture and roll up the dough tightly.
- Cut the rolled dough into 12-13 pieces and place in muffin tins.
- Let the rolls rest while preheating the oven to 375°F.
- Bake until golden and cooked through, then cool slightly before glazing.
