Ingredients

The pork and rub

  • 2 pieces pork tenderloins
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chipotle powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice

The Avocado Green Sauce (optional)

  • ¼ cup olive oil or avocado oil
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 1 cup fresh herbs (parsley and cilantro)
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium avocado
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloins dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix all BBQ rub ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Coat the pork tenderloins with the BBQ rub evenly.
  4. Optionally, let the pork marinate for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
  5. Preheat the grill to high heat (450℉).
  6. Grill the pork for 2 minutes on each side, then cook until internal temperature reaches 145℉.
  7. Optionally, prepare the Avocado Green Sauce by blending all sauce ingredients until desired consistency.
  8. Remove the pork from the grill, cover with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve the pork topped with Avocado Green Sauce and your favorite sides.
