Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 dish.
- Heat almond milk and butter until melted and warm (110-120°F).
- Sprinkle yeast on the warm milk mixture and let it sit for ten minutes.
- Mix together flour and salt in another bowl while the yeast sits.
- Whisk in coconut sugar after the yeast has sat for ten minutes.
- Turn off the oven and open the door to create a warm place for the dough to rise.
- Combine wet ingredients with flour and stir until well mixed.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in the warm oven for 45 minutes to rise.
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture by mixing coconut sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Flour a surface and shape the dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread softened butter on the dough and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut it into 12 rolls.
- Place the rolls in the greased baking dish and brush with melted butter.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F with the rolls on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Prepare the frosting by blending all frosting ingredients together.
- Frost the cinnamon rolls while warm or once cooled.
