Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Topping

  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare parchment paper for a large sheet pan.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
  3. 3. Add the beaten egg and combine to form a dough.
  4. 4. Divide the dough in half and roll out each half between two pieces of parchment paper.
  5. 5. Cut the rolled dough into 20 pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Transfer the parchment with the dough onto a cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly browned.
  7. 7. Allow to cool before breaking apart and storing in an airtight container.
