Healthy Apple Crisp with Pecan Oat Topping

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Make the filling by placing the chopped apples in a bowl and sprinkling with flour, then adding brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Toss to combine and transfer to the baking dish.
- For the topping, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, nuts, cinnamon, and salt in the same bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Add the cubed butter to the topping mixture and use your hands to mix until a uniform dough forms.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the apples are tender. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
