Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, lemon juice, maple syrup, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the crisp topping ingredients.
- Pour the apple mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the apples are softened.
- Remove from the oven and spread the crisp topping over the apple mixture.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
