Instructions
- 1. In a large saucepan, combine cauliflower florets, water, and 1 tablespoon of salt.
- 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the cauliflower is easily pierced with a knife, about 15 minutes.
- 3. Drain the cauliflower well and return it to the pot.
- 4. Mash the cauliflower thoroughly, then stir in heavy cream, butter, thyme, and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
