Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion, celery, and garlic, cooking until tender.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 40 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve.
