jackfruit, drained

slider buns
or 6 hamburger buns

desired fixings (pickles, mustard, serrano peppers, etc.)
Slaw

shredded cabbage

chopped cilantro

lime juice

olive oil

BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Shred the jackfruit by pulling it apart with your hands, discarding any tough core pieces.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add onion and salt, and cook until soft.
- Add the shredded jackfruit to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in water and half of the BBQ sauce, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cover and stir in the remaining BBQ sauce, reserving some for serving.
- In a bowl, combine cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the slaw.
- Serve the sliders with jackfruit, remaining BBQ sauce, slaw, and desired fixings.
