Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ¾ cup natural almond butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together almond flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the egg and coconut sugar until combined.
  4. Add melted coconut oil, almond butter, and vanilla to the wet mixture and stir.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until mixed well.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks and pour the mixture into the greased pan.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
