Instructions
- Combine sugar with chopped strawberries and stir until sugar begins to dissolve, then let it stand for about an hour, stirring frequently.
- Add lemon juice and salt to the mixture.
- Blend the strawberries in a blender.
- Freeze the blended mixture according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
- Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours before serving.
