Ingredients

The chicken tenders

  • 1.25 lbs raw boneless skinless chicken breast tenderloins
  • 2 large egg whites

The coating

  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup cornflake crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and paprika in a small dish.
  2. Place chicken strips in a Ziploc bag, add flour mixture, seal, and shake to coat.
  3. Beat egg whites in a shallow dish and set aside.
  4. In another shallow dish, mix cornflake crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  5. Coat each chicken strip in egg whites, then press into the cornflake mixture to coat.
  6. Arrange coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket without touching.
  7. Mist tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Set air fryer to 390°F and cook for 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
