Ingredients

The fudge

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional add-ins

  • peanut butter chips or peanut butter
  • chopped nuts
  • toffee bits
  • M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with foil and lightly butter or grease it.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, marshmallows, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt.
  3. Microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Add any optional ingredients if desired.
  6. Spread the fudge evenly in the prepared pan and press any additional toppings into the surface.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
