Easy Homemade Fudge

Instructions
- Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with foil and lightly butter or grease it.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, marshmallows, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt.
- Microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add any optional ingredients if desired.
- Spread the fudge evenly in the prepared pan and press any additional toppings into the surface.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
