Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium-low heat.
- Stir in the maple syrup once the chocolate is melted.
- Add any desired extracts for flavoring and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Quickly transfer the mixture to a frosting tool and shape into chocolate chip sized portions on wax paper.
- Refrigerate the shaped chocolate chips for at least 30 minutes to solidify.
