Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts (skinless/boneless, 8 oz each)

The cooking liquid

  • 1 cup Water

The seasoning

  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Spice Rub (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour water into the inner liner of the pressure cooker and set the trivet inside.
  2. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil.
  3. Apply the spice rub on all sides of the chicken breasts and place them on the trivet.
  4. Seal the lid on the pot and set the steam release knob to the Sealing position.
  5. Select the Pressure Cook setting and set the timer for 7 minutes.
  6. After cooking, let the pot sit for 10 minutes for natural pressure release, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  7. Check the chicken's temperature to ensure it has reached at least 160°F.
  8. Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
