Golden Tomato Sauce

Instructions
- Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and chop them into 1/4-inch chunks.
- In a cold medium saucepan, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the garlic begins to sizzle and take on some color.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and any reserved juices to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Cook for a couple of minutes until the tomatoes start to break down.
- Remove from heat, taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
