Instructions
- Rinse the dry black beans and remove any debris.
- Select 'sauté' on the Instant Pot and heat the olive oil.
- Add the onions and salt, sautéing until softened and golden.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden and aromatic.
- Deglaze the pot with a splash of vegetable broth and stir in the spices.
- Add the black beans and remaining vegetable broth, then seal the lid.
- Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes, then allow natural pressure release.
- Once done, check the beans for tenderness and squeeze in lime juice before serving.
