Homemade Air Fryer Meatballs

Ingredients

The meat mixture

  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ pound sweet Italian ground sausage

The binding and seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan
  • ¼ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the ground beef and ground sausage, mixing well.
  3. Add the ground beef and ground sausage, and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Scoop the mixture into 1 or 1½ tablespoon portions and roll into meatballs.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with oil and place the meatballs in a single layer without touching.
  6. Cook the meatballs for 12 to 14 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. If cooking in batches, keep the first batch warm while cooking the next.
