Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

The binding ingredients

  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coconut flour, almond flour, protein powder, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the almond butter and maple syrup together.
  4. Pour the melted mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well, then fold in the applesauce.
  5. Add milk gradually until a thick batter forms.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press firmly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
