Instructions
- Preheat the broiler and prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, onion, egg, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well, adding water if necessary.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
- Broil the meatballs for 8-10 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the meatballs to the slow cooker and add marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Stir gently.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- Serve topped with parsley and additional parmesan cheese.
