Basic Butter Cookie

Instructions
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until crumbly.
- 2. Shape the dough into a long cylinder and wrap in cling wrap.
- 3. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 374°F (190°C).
- 5. Remove the cling wrap and roll the dough in granulated sugar.
- 6. Slice the dough into 0.2 inch thick pieces.
- 7. Lay the slices on a silicone mat on a baking tray.
- 8. Bake in the oven at 356°F (180°C) for about 18 minutes.
- 9. Cool the cookies on a cooling rack.
