Instructions
- Melt the butter in the microwave and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
- In a measuring cup, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently to combine, leaving lumps.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a pat of butter or oil.
- Pour ⅓ cup of batter onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, flipping when bubbles form.
- Serve warm with maple syrup.
