Ingredients

The dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp dried dill
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper

The salad

  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 12 oz. mini shell pasta
  • 2 5oz. cans chunk light tuna, drained

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by mixing mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Finely dice the red onion and measure out the frozen peas.
  3. Boil salted water in a large pot, add the pasta, and cook until almost tender (about 5-6 minutes), then add the frozen peas for the last minute or two.
  4. Drain the pasta and peas, allowing them to cool.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta and peas with the diced red onion, drained tuna, and prepared dressing.
  6. Gently mix until everything is evenly combined and coated in dressing, then serve or refrigerate until ready to eat.
