Ingredients

  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 ½ pounds green beans
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. 1. Dice the bacon and cook it in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy.
  2. 2. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and drain it on a paper towel.
  3. 3. Pour off excess grease, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the skillet.
  4. 4. Add the green beans to the skillet and season with salt and pepper, cooking until tender-crisp for about 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant for about 1 minute.
  6. 6. Return the bacon to the skillet and toss everything together before serving.
