Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and crumble it.
  2. Whisk together coconut aminos, honey, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and stir-fry the green beans with salt and pepper for 5 to 7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Pour the coconut aminos mixture over the green beans and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle crumbled bacon on top, tossing gently.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
