Comforting Feta Dip

The sauteed apples

Instructions
- In a food processor, blend feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ground pepper until smooth.
- Transfer the feta mixture to a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat, then add diced apples, honey, and chili flakes. Cook until apples soften.
- Spread the whipped feta in a bowl or plate, top with sautéed apples, additional honey, candied walnuts, and chives.
- Serve with warmed pita slices.
