Ingredients

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 slices country bread
  • to taste none sea salt
  • to taste none dried parsley or desired seasonings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat the olive oil and smashed garlic in a small saucepan until aromatic, then remove from heat.
  3. Cut the bread into 3/4-inch cubes and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the garlic oil over the bread, sprinkle with sea salt, and toss to coat.
  5. Spread the bread in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 to 18 minutes until golden brown and crisp, depending on desired crispiness.
  7. Sprinkle with dried parsley before serving.
