Instructions
- Preheat an electric griddle to 350°F or use a non-stick pan on the stovetop.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, sour cream, sugars, mashed bananas, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; the batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Butter the griddle and pour a heaping ⅓ cup of batter onto it, spreading it slightly.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is golden brown.
- Serve warm with the cream cheese glaze.
- To make the glaze, blend cream cheese and butter until fluffy, then add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
