Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large bananas (mashed)
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ banana sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking tray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, chia seeds, sea salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, almond butter, and maple syrup until well combined.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop ¼ cup of the dough onto the baking tray, shaping them into cookies and pressing a slice of banana on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and the banana is caramelized.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
