Instructions
- Combine apple cider, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a pot and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until reduced by a third.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients until just combined and pour over the apples in the pie plate.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the top is browned and set, then let cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Loosen the edges of the pancake with a knife, invert onto a serving platter, and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving with syrup.
