Juicy and Tender Sirloin Tip Roast

Ingredients

The roast

  • 1 piece sirloin tip roast (4 - 5 pounds)

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Place the roast on a baking sheet or large dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture over the roast and let it sit at room temperature for an hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  5. Brush the outside of the roast with oil and place it in a roasting pan.
  6. Cook for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 325°F.
  7. Cook for another 60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 130°F.
  8. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
