Ingredients

The base

  • 3 cups dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Optional sweeteners

  • 2 tablespoons coconut or cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the peanuts on the baking sheet and roast for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the nuts and let them cool slightly, then add to a food processor.
  4. Process the peanuts until they reach a smooth consistency, pausing to stir if necessary.
  5. Once smooth, add a pinch of sea salt and any optional ingredients, then pulse for 30 seconds to mix.
  6. Pour the peanut butter into a jar and refrigerate.
