Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix the heavy cream and vanilla.
- Combine the cream mixture with the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a disk and cut into 6 triangles.
- Place the scones on the baking sheet and brush with cream.
- Bake for 14 to 16 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the scones before glazing.
- Mix the powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, maple extract, and salt to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the scones and let it set before serving.
