Ingredients

The beef

  • 1 pound 93% Lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • ¼ teaspoon chile flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Tamari Soy Sauce, reduced sodium
  • 1 tablespoon Siracha
  • 1 tablespoon Low carb brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • Juice of half lime lime

The base

  • 1 ½ cups Cauliflower rice

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add sesame oil.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into small pieces until lightly browned, about 4 minutes.
  3. Drain excess grease from the pan.
  4. Add pressed garlic, ground ginger, and chile flakes, then increase heat to high and cook until browned and crisp, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, white vinegar, sugar substitute, and Siracha; cook for another minute until well incorporated.
  6. Turn off the heat and add a squeeze of lime.
  7. Serve over cauliflower rice and top with scallions and cilantro if desired.
